Thought it was just me!

 

Not keen on the new layout either, IMO it was better the way it was. Maybe it's just me but I'm not looking at the for sale threads as much as I was, out of sight, out of mind possibly??

 

I asked the same question a couple of days ago then found the answer in the 'Forums' so cancelled it thinking it was just me who hadn't figured it out! Don't like it much.

 

Maybe I'm losing my mind (it is quite possible actually ), but what new layout? Everything looks the same for me, at the moment at least.

On another note, what mods have you e-mailed? I ask because I often see this type of comment posted, yet in all that time, I have never had a single e-mail or PM from said people saying that. I'm not accusing anyone of lying, before anyone starts, I am just genuinely curious as it could be possible members are sending messages to less active mods, hence the lack of reply. My question is to help, not to criticise.

 

The marketplace tab at the top has changed,the drop down menu only has 2 categories now where as before you could access the for sale section

 

Right, I see what you mean now. Does seem a bit daft not to have the marketplace links in there.....

I assume it's quite recent, because I noticed the other day, that when I click on the forum tab (not a sub section under it), I now get re-directed to a page listing the recent threads, rather than the main page as I would call it, where all the sub sections are listed. I just used to click that when I'd posted stuff, to save back spacing, depending where I wanted to look next. Now I have to click on the Scoobynet tab further down or Scoobynet logo to get there.

 

Yes is quiet recent,there have been quiet a few bugs recently,one which is a pain is that clicking on new posts doesn't reveal a post that you have just posted until it has been posted in again(if you know what I mean lol)
Having to use the today's posts tab in the Quick links drop down tab. I think someone also mentioned the garage tab at the top has gone and being replaced with another new post tab too.

 

I know and we've tried to point the tech guys to the threads mentioning the current bugs, but sadly, that is as much as we as mods can do.

 

Exactly this. I no longer come across threads lower down the screen, instead i have to be looking for them.

 

Lisa, I used the 'contact us' link at the bottom of the page. I have used it more than one occasion and I have never had a reply!

 

And while I have a mods attention: why do I have two Plus member/access all area badges on my profile? I assume that means I have paid twice in error?

 

I can't comment as to why you would not have had a reply, as I'm genuinely not exactly sure who's e-mail account that is (as in whether it goes to Stu, or it's a general SN one???). What I would suggest for future, or until I can find out what the situation is with that contact is to either post in the policy, bugs or membership sections right at the bottom of the page or PM Stu or one of us active mods. Even if we are not on at that exact time, one of us is bound to come on at least the same day.

People ending up with two badges used to be a bit of a bug that happened if membership was renewed before it had completely expired (for example, you renew, but you still have a day or two left to run on your previous sub). It had been fixed I believe for a while, then seemed to have started happening again. It may be worth checking your paypal just to make sure you haven't paid twice, though.
