Default How easy to convert blob to hawk?

I've been looking at a few newage Impreza's but i don't fancy the Hawk 2.5 chocolate engine, thorntons can keep them

But i do prefer the Hawk looks, i know i can buy a widetrack but there over priced at the moment. So was wondering how hard the conversion is. Is it just Bonnet, wings, bumper, grill, headlights and job done?

full front end inc headlamp panels, buy the slam new, its about £90
you need to cut the inner wings and then modify the wiring, you also need to buy the bonnet latch and striker as these are different

its not hard just time consuming, and the parts are silly money, weve converted three now

As the man said

Read my thread, the process will be very similar, the costs, maybe more.

Thats what i was concerned about if the slam panel needs changing etc. So no body modifications needed? Just panels?

It's the full slam panel. Headlamp panel and bumper beam.

There's quite a bit to it.

Not just bolt on. Drilling and welding needed too

Blobs look ok, just the headlights, can't stand them, make the car look soft. Can't beat the classic for looks.

Hi guys I love the Blob and was all set to buy one. Then I saw a Hake eye fell in love and had to have one. the parts are a nightmare hard to get any thing good because of the short production run. In the end I sold it. so no Scooby now

I am sticking to my classic, but due to getting older now, it spends most of its life tucked away from the weather.

Th blob would be a daily driver. To get a decent sti or wrx in classic form is to expensive, then you have the rust issues. Want to get away from having 2 Impreza's that i have to fight off the rust
