Default Fitting top feed injectors to V5/6 Classic

Quick question for those in the know. Google couldn't find me the answer.

When fitting top feed injectors to a V5/6 classic do I need anything else other then the following:

Top feed injectors
New seals
Adaptor fuel rails such as CDF
The electrical plugs for each injector

Custom hose and fittings to reroute etc not a problem and already running parallel with FPR.

Then is it a case of just cutting off the old connectors and soldering on the new ones?

Obviously a remap (actually a new ecu) will be involved as the flow rate will be uped.

Cheers.

Something like that.......or just buy ph.2 side feeds.

Got Deatchwerk 740ccs for sale if you need them (as i sold gc8 and have v9 STI now).

Thank you. I know side feeds are available but it works out cheaper to have CDF billet rails and refurbed sti pinks from lateral then it does just to buy a set of high capacity side feeds. I have looked at enlarged 440 side feeds but they are too big for my needs. 740's wouldn't be too bad but ideally I just want 550's. But thank you for the offer

I have already played around with the fuel system quite a bit as I have carl davey billet side feed rails and full braided an6, SARD FPR uprated pump etc fitted so am not afraid of chopping and changing parts.

I think my injectors (they are true 740s not modified ones) would be cheaper than rails+550 pinks.......but if you really preffer 550ccs then just go for it

.....plus they woud fit nicely in carl davey side feed rails:P
