Anyone know of one? Putting the larger STI ones onto my WRX. Never touched brake shoes before....
Found the Subaru manual so I'll get it done with that if needs be, but I always prefer something with someone's real world experience.

Yeah doing the Brembo upgrade. The only thing I'm really concerned about is the adjustment to be honest. Not sure how easy/difficult it is regarding the access to it.
Sti shoes dont fit a wrx. You can either fit sti hubs or buy an adaptor kit like this.

I'm using the Godspeed kit. Sorry, didn't realise they were actually different. I'm using the larger rear shoes that Godspeed sell for the WRX.
Would think 5x100 STI ones would fit, for what it's worth?

With regards to setting them after. Adjust with the discs off until the shoes almost touch the drum. Fit the drum and wheel. Spin the wheel and adjust out a little more until you feel a difference then back off a bit. Make sure the wheel spins freely and once both sides are done you can do any small adjustments from the inside of the car on the short cable behind the lever.
Might be worth checking the inside adjustment first as if its been wound right up in the past due to wear you want to unwind it and reset the shoes to leave room for more future adjustment from inside.

No, they dont fit the hub. Sti hubs if you want to use the sti ones.
Yep there is a hole in the rear of the baking plate of each hub. This moves each shoe in and out individually. It allows you to loosen to remove them and to equal the two sides out. Once its pretty much there you can use the internal nut under the carpet behind the lever to adjust the shoes equally. As they wear you can nip them up a bit here but they last forever.
I think so... it's been years since I did it last. I also have a suspicion that the adjusters can be put in either way around meaning the way that moves them in or out can be reversed if somebody put them back the other way around.
