Rear disc removal- advice needed
Near side rear disc off no problem.
Off side won't budge. I know I need to loosen off the handbrake shoes, but I don't know if I need to move the adjuster up or down to do this.
Any one know what way it goes, drivers side.

Drivers side is down for future reference.
What a Fvcking stupid design, the hole only needs to be slightly bigger so you can actually get a screw driver in and see what the fvck it is your doing!

I know that and you know that misread the post thought he said he couldn't get the disc/drum to budge as if it was seized on the hub.

Gotta love a handbrake shoe. Pretty much par for the course though with the adjuster holes being too small whatever vehicle.
Think yourself lucky you're not handling a set of these drums though, mind you it's a lot easier backing the shoes off..

No problem , but at least other looking for info on removing discs can read it and perhaps stop them doing it without slackening the handbrake shoes off first

You know something Ian I was talking to you a couple of times on the phone and you struck me to be an arrogant sort of a **** hence why I didn't purchase anything of yourselves. As for my statement I was only trying to help the OP but of course you being an arrogant sort of a **** thought you would have a wee nit pick. Now if you wish to twist the wording about in my statement to a perverted meaning all well and good that is entirely up to yourself. Now I have never slagged or taken the mickey out of anyone on this forum only make short posts trying to help others as I don't like typing. But there's always a first time if you wish to pursue the subject. As for the braking specialist you should of taken him to Jersey with you. Not nice is it.
Cheerio now.

Ok Joe, calm down, Ian was only having a laugh and I'm sure he didn't mean to cause offence with his last post, and he was only offering advice regarding your other post.
Having spoken to both Ian and Ben on the phone they seem happy enough to give people advice and didn't come across to meas arrogant. Running a business and the stress that comes with it, it is possible that you might have caught him on a bad day, and having fitted his Kevlar brake package all round this weekend I can recommend them as a decent upgrade over stock
