I had something similar posted under the wiper of my previous car which got me into the local club.

You could sell them in a pack of 50 or 100 etc.

OK, I could be a bit optimistic

Top ideas Dave!! How many dealers though do you think would actually do it . Like the idea of being able to hand them out at the petrol station though. Good ice breaker...

Also, you could include the SIDC and 22B.com details on there for a small fee

Not sure if anyone has suggested this before, but would it be a good idea to have a set of small cards, like business cards, but for Scoobynet? Then if you see a scooby parked up somewhere you could pop one under the wiper blade. It would give the web address, logo plus some suitably catchy words to get them interested...

You could sell them in a pack of 50 or 100 etc.

Good idea / load of c*ck??? Would there be enough interest to make it work printing a batch?

Cheers

In theory matey a cracking idea - we were gonna do this to publisise our Worcester Meets and in the past have done it for Worcester Motorclub events - in practise however there are laws which we may contravene - including littering .....for example if these folks throw them on the floor then Scoobynet is responsible for picking them up - much like McDoanlds were fined for a few years back with their polystyrene boxes......if anyone knows a way around this then I'm up for helping out

Get one of those whitewash pens car dealers use and paint it on the windscreen :-)

Simon.

Unfortunately Richard is correct but...

1) If you happened to see the actual owner, say filling up, he/she wouldn't mind being handed a card surely?

2) Perhaps dealers you know would be happy to pop a card in with the vehicle docs when a Scoob is sold or serviced?

I used to do this for a particular car club and it was quite well received and they got several new members and the word spreads. DL

Thumbs up

spooky,
Ive been planning on doing this myself
I often see scoobs parked without SIDC stickers, and wanted to bring SIDC, Scoobynet and 22b to their attention.

re littering:

I seriously doubt there would ever be more than 1 or 2 scoobs you would "tag " per week so there would never be enough for littering to be considered.

Otherwise Walkers, Cadburys etc would be sued millions of times every day!!
