I think it depends most on areas once you get into your 20s.

Insuring a Bug STI aged 23 in Warwick was okay, came in at three figures that.

My Spec D was around £1100 a year in Blackpool when I was 24. I got a quote for my Blob STI when I was living in Birmingham and the price basically suggested that the car was going to be stolen for definite and crashed into ten parked Ferraris.

Have noticed a big drop since I turned 30, though I can't be sure if that's because I have a lot of years of no claims or because being 30 is seen as much safer than 29!

Hello mate, what LPG kit are you using?

I used to have a twinscroll bug with 340bhp running on LPG, it was cheap as chips to run! Before I crashed it

I had the BRC kit, I was told its one if the best kits on the market. But it had a slight bit of hesitation around 2500 revs. It was VERY annoying.

How does yours run on LPG?

I got my bug WRX at 21... A T2000 or a blob were MUCH more expensive to ensure for some reason. I pay monthly, but it went from £150 a month at 21 to just over £70 a month once I was 22.

I'm one of those people who seems to be cursed when it comes to insurance, though...

I'm 23 with a Hawkeye STI PPP with a few mods, costs just over £700 a year fully comp. Bought her when i was 21 and cost about a grand to insure back then, i've been driving since i was 17 with no points or claims. I dont see many guys my age in impreza's though!
