Hi guys n gals

im posting this for a friend as he struggling with internet connection at the moment. He having problems with his car.

Car -impreza wrx sti hawkeye
year -55plate

The clutch pedal is either up or stays stuck to floor when pressed and you have to manually lift it.

I took top cooler off and checked the spring was there on top box -which it was.
Bled top nipple and then one on box - clutch pedal started to get feeling(engine off). But as soon as you started car the clutch pedal went back to its original symptoms.

Car engages all gears when engines is off. But when car is started you cant engine any.

As i mentioned when we got semi feeling in the pedal after bleeding then started the engine the clutch would stick to the floor but I heard some kind wine/rattle for 10-15secs from the gearbox area then it vanished.

think its time to remove the box???

But really appreciated any input before we do this just incase were missing something ovious.

Clutch replaced 8k for uprated one by scooby clinic
gear box removed and repaired for top bearing 2k
car was just been driven normally , came to roundabout dropped clutch and it stook to floor.

sounds like either a fluid/air issue or the slave cylinder is faulty........

 

Hi guys

so I stripped the gearbox out and found the bell house casing in side broekn.

were the selector folk pin come through the box

will up load pics.

can any please advise me on cost and as to were I can get a bell housing please so I can tell my friend.

were based in sheffield rotherham area

 

Also should there be a bolt of some kind that holds the selector folk in the box on the out side of the casing
