Broquet fitting warning!!!!
Received my Broquet pellets today and fitted them. It took 40minutes.
Actually pulling up the metal plates with the fuel connectors on is tricky as they do not move very much.
My warning is this:
1. Be very careful when you pick up the plates making sure you have the rubber seal underneath, I nearly lost mine as it stuck to the screws and I nearly pulled it off. It would be impossible the put it back on again.
The rubber seal has a few little rubber spikes that stick up through the plate. Hold on to them and also hold underneath the plate as you lift it.
2. On the right hand plate (8 nuts to undo) remove the electric connector. And WATCH you do not bend the metal tubes especially the one that points towards the front on the vehicle. This is very easy as this plate is very difficult to raise higher enough to drop the pellets in.
Now on to better fuel consumption and smoother engine, if that’s possible. Its damn smooth anyways
Hope that helps

When I had mine fitted last year, the garage could not fit them down the fuel neck and had to drop the rear axle to lower the fuel tank and fit them in from there. They said they could not get them to fit round the angles of the fuel filler pipe. I hope they were right and did not charge me two hours labour for nothing. Anyway, since fitting, engine certainly runs smother and idles smoother. My car is an STI V.
