I've been accepted!
A big thanks to that man who posted the link to the Toyota on track experience.
Thanks to him I get to thrash somebody else's car around Oulton Park!.
I've Driven Oulton three times now, twice in my own car and once on a Lotus marketing day.
I always get well carried away when I'm driving my own car and end up boiling the brakes and breaking the engine/gearbox.
Cheers chap.

Phil you don't know how much I hate people that are always right!
But this time you're forgiven

Still have to confirm availability but am also looking to 16th pm
So all being well will see you and Ian there. So long as you promise not to laugh, total track virgin and supporter of the Tortoise & the Hare philosphy.
Just worried the wife will end up wanting a Celica!
PS if you're boiling brakes and breaking Cerbera engines I'm gonna stand well back from the armco.

Guys,
Glad you have all got a drive, just remember, if you get to drive the Celica 190, give it large for me.
I wasn't accepted as my local track (according to the postcode you register with) is Silverstone and that was fully booked. So I don't get a go.
However, if I can tempt just one scooby owner to Toyota, my work here will be complete

Cheers

Banshi,
Thanks for the offer, much appreciated. But as I have managed to score myself an extended test drive of the new Celica 190 from my local dealer, that is all I need.

Yeehah!
Sounds like a Scoobynet meet at Oulton on the 16th then.
Banshi, It was track ready Renault turbos and 205 Gti's that I was blowing up. That was in my youth, I'm over thirty now so hopefully the armco isn't under any threat.
Like I said above I'll be in the Cerbera and I'm there 9-1 (prob a bit later) so come over and have a chat.

I can add a few to that M8, you can leave your number on my zimmer frame
Did the phone confirmation today & changed the wifes session from Sunday to Saturday p.m. Now not too sure that it was such a good idea.
Was that your tivi at dono when Feli blew the turbo?

Banshi,
First scoob meet for me. I've been lurking on this board for quite a while, even before my profile suggests.
Didn't buy the TVR from choice, swapped it for some things I didn't want(houses). It looks absolutley fantastic but it is one seriously hard car to drive!.
It was in the garage again yesterday as well.

I believe thats a "feature" of the marque, along with the £500 service
Did drive an early and somewhat ropey one, felt as if I was viewing the world through a letterbox! Especially with three six inch wipers to clear the raindrops.
I'll turn up during the morning and look out for you.
