Hi,

Just wondering what pressure the standard scooby fuel pump runs at, the one i have is a sytec 3 bar pump - which is about 45PSI - I was wondering if this is enough???

Cheers

Hmmm....3 bar is okay but should rise in conjuction with boost pressure.

i.e. 3 bar at 0psi, 4 bar at 1 bar boost.

Thanks - at the moment the pump isn't connected to the ECU it's just wired in - could that be connected to the running problems I'm having? I guess the pump is running at 3 BAR all the time. I have an AFR and it doesn't lean out at the moment even under full boost - which seems to be around 14PSI.

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?

Theres a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rails (position dependant on the year.. but mine on a 94 is on the back of the inlet manifold - Injector rail on the drivers side) this then has a hose that connects to the top middle of the throttle body so that the fuel pressure rises as the throttle is opened.
