A big thanks to John who prescribed Tek3 last Thursday.

Put to good use with a trip up North at the weekend. Overtaking was spectacular!

Can I suggest a consultation with the good Doctor?

Well, he used to be uncomfortable being called a Guru - I just wondered what changed...

I think it was the months of sitting in the lotus position on top of a pointy mountain that changed his mind.

I like john, he is a nice bloke.

never met him, but he owes me a favour for something he doesnt even know about.

either way, if he knew him, I am sure he would donate the mantle of ecu guru to pat.

john knows his stuff I think, but in terms of tinkering with ecus properly, I have to say, Pat is your man.

Jecs back in the old days, link for some time, motec, and the pinnacle for me anyway pectel, and all with some pretty trick home made gismos to keep things interesting.

No offence John!

Thumbs up

Mantle of 3rd order JECS tinkerer in Scotland I will then assume. Pat therefore supreme ECU guru. However, good master not stayed faithful to JECS on which he raised. Deeper understanding, he clearly has.

Cool

How about "John Banks, ECUTek guru"? Would that be more accurate?

They say behind every great man is a great women - right John?

If I could work out how John has managed to persuade his wife that fiddling with Scoobies and going part time is the way forward I would bottle it and retire now

John-son,

you will see in time, that you must walk the path forward to a more capable ecu. then and only then will you understand the true power of the pectel.

True this may be, but the masses who are pleased with warp speed Scooby at good price will be pushed beyond the city boundary. Those who go the Pectel way, body parts they shall sell to afford. Either that or good job they shall have and money excess over sense.

but john-son there is another path which only the unwise and foolhardy may look upon. It would be unfortunate that rush to over look the remortgage, for it highlights the road to the future and secures you a place in capable ecu heaven.
