Decats!

Now I've not been away from a Scooby for a great amount of time but I cannot for the life of me figure out why the prices of decat downpipes have grown tenfold?!

I'm sure you used to be able to pick a semi decent one up on ebay for £120 or so and now they're all around £1000-1300

Anyone know what the reason is?

Don't they just do that when they have no stock? Stops people from ordering and it's easier than pulling the advert and then relisting when back in stock.

Either an error in the listing or as already mentioned, to stop you ordering when out of stock.

Surely you saw all the other listings for around £120 to £150?

Maybe the increase in platinum has something to do with it

Its to stop people ordering when out of stock as said above.
I bought a tap and die set off ebay for £30 and when I went back to check my order the price was £300 and I near died. I must have bought the last one and they had put the price up for the above reason.

Hi Steve, yes mate, I'm back in a money pit. You knew it wouldn't be too long

I've only had it a few days now and already ordered a few bits and bobs. Think I'll steer clear of the 2.35's and GT35R's this time though... At least for a while lol

How's your beauty running?

Yep I didn't think you'd be away for long.

Hello Mate,

how are you doing? Good to hear you are back in a scooby. Which one did you end up buying?

Cheers

I saw one at £129 but the taper down to a 2.5" at the end looked shocking not only in quality, but looked like it would flow as good as a river through a mcdonalds straw!

I think it may have something to do with the platinum prices are extremely high.

Think it's the reasons as quoted above, decats have no platinum in them
