This thread has just reminded me that I need to re-wire the headlamps on the Jag...Cibie 5.75" quad headlamp conversion. Sunny day....Good excuse to mess about. 
Works well on high beam (H1 bulbs on the spotlamps) . But crappy Lucas connectors means the dipped beam is rubbish due to too much voltage drop (the spot lamps were wired seperatly).
Also going to swap over the dipped/main headlamp units so they are in the middle as opposed to the corner as they will then sit further forward....the radiator grill currently shaddows the "kick-up" on the off side dipped headlamp
Tempted to swap them for projectors out of a E30 or E34 BMW...they use 5.75 inch lights too
