Missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 - question?

So why wasn't this unidentified aircraft challenged if it was tracked by radar? It was 'tracked' by satellite pings by the sounds of it which aren't monitored but merely recorded hence taking the time to work out where it went.
If it had been tracked by radar they would know exactly where it was the entire length of it's detoured journey and where that finally finished.
As for the latest conspiracy theory They should make it into a novel.

can radar track that far? what is the range of a land based radar 100, 500 miles? -- maybe you get really long range radar - does Malaysia have that sort of radar - do they expect threats from 1000 of miles away (like Europe in the cold war)?
do they have a need for radar that can track miles into empty ocean - what would be the ROI case for that?
remember the transponders are off - so we are talking a passive radar signal - not a "here I am" ping

Why isn't the black box in an external cubby with a door that pops off in water so it can float to the surface, having noted exactly where it was when it touched water?

I have no idea about the technology they have or don't have in terms of locating this aircraft. But from what I have read over the past 2 weeks my gutfeel is that they don't have a fu%^&$ clue where this aircraft is
In this day and age with the Satnav and GPS technology we have at our disposal, this is a total joke........

Like organising the box for it to send regular signals to a satellite.

Well here is one very serious conspiracy theory for you:-
http://www.sovereignindependentuk.co...s-judgeship-t/
...makes a hell of a lot more sense than the BS 'wild goose chase' story the mainstream media are stringing everyone along with.
A little 'bedtime' reading....

Just seen the size this thing ( some scale to judge by) they're going to tow behind that **** off sized tug , somewhere in the 100000 square mile sized search area.
I imagined it would be size of a bus, but it's size of large washing up bowl !
Wouldn't they have better luck with 50 of these things .And correspondingly smaller boats towing them

if this new "ping" turns out to be the flight recorder
I suspect the US knew all along where it was - i.e. had been tracking it, but just did not want to reveal just how far their surveillance technologies reach
and they told the Aussie's where to look

I believe something similar. The Malaysian opposition leader asked the same question I have been saying since this started which is how did this aircraft fly back into Malaysian airspace and across the country without being tracked on radar and be intercepted by military jets and then just disappear.
It was tracked unless Malaysia claim to having no civilian or miltary radar monitoring their airspace. I also believe the US and China will have tracked it going off course. Again the Chinese were the first to have 'found' these pings.

Found a ping yet no wreckage
Biggest load of bóllocks I think I've heard in a while IMHO
Yes the ocean is a big place and has massive currents, but that operation is not exactly a small one and has been going on long enough.
I honestly believe they would have found something by now floating or washed ashore somewhere..................

The whole thing stinks of lies and cover up.
The yanks make massive claims about being able to spot the smallest of things on earth, yet they've not really said a word here.
That Malaysian **** and his survival miracle statements

Maybe a sperm whale has swallowed the plane, it would explain why they are getting pulse signals hundreds of miles apart, at least my theory is more credible than some of the things that have been reported.
With all the technology we have in this day and age, along with the technology that some countries claim to have thats around 20 years into the future i'm deffo suspicious about almost everything thats gone on with this so called disappearing plane, its the relatives that you feel for.
If we can have tracking devices on cars that allow the police to find stolen cars then why have they never been brought into the aviation industry especially after the Air France plane that disappeared ?

nothing really surprising in that though - they would not want to publicise there capability in the are
if they do know something, they are feeding directly to friendly intelligence service - such as the Australian ones
so that the search area can be reduced
