On this GB you now have to factor in buying these extras that have seen supplied with every set of wheels I have ever bought before which suddenly bumps the price back to pretty much the original selling price. What other charges have we not been told about such as credit card fees or paypal fees

Secondly, I can imagine JapShop will be over the moon to take everyones money on the premise that eventually the wheels will be in stock. Again, I would expect a nominal deposit to be taken - non-refundable if the deal is as agreed and I pull out - but I would not expect payment to be taken in full until the wheels are in stock and ready for despatch.

I going to think long and hard about this today whilst I cut a hole in my bonnet but TBH I think I'll probably go elsewhere and pay a bit extra for a better all round package
I have lost 2 days & 1 evening so far of my life working on this solid while I should have been doing other things. FYI The ebay bargain wheels (made in a different factory) will not come with spiggot rings either.

I understand where you are coming from, but even factoring in some wheel nuts & spiggot rings they are still a bargain on this thread. I have personally costed it all up and it still works out.

I'm not talking about ebay bargain wheel either - by time to negotiate a full wheel and tyre package with someone like SRB or RTS you'll end up paying about £500 for the wheels and still get a good price on a choice of tyre - by time you buy these, add the extras and have no bargaining power as you would if you bought a package it's no longer such a bargain

Sure when Guy from Japshop contacts you for payment you can organise the spiggot rings to be supplied at same time. He does do the nuts too.

This group buy has to be limited to the wheels (on the list), valves & centre caps only as will come standard in the wheel box. Any other requirements and variations can be discussed with Guy when he calls you for payment.

Feel free to get alternative quotes on wheels with the extra's so that we have comparisons. Good idea.

All I can say from having taken this over (somehow) in the last 2 days and been speaking with Guy @ Japshop is that he is a very genuine seller. If you wish to call him to discuss options & prices then I am sure he will help wherever possible. He supplies a lot of these wheels to other resellers and can explain the difference between his genuine items and some others available currently. he's a top bloke, very helpful indeed.

Not worth the risk as the OD of the Spigot needs to be exact to match the ID of the Bore of the Wheel.

Best getting them from the supplier tbh.

The spiggots I found on eBay are exactly the same size (ID and OD) as the ones from Japshop. They will fit perfectly.
