my car used to be dark blue mica before i did the facelift and colour change. i tried a set of matt black alloys and didn't like them. i recommend chrome black. needs looking after but they look awsome. especially on 530s, they will look even deeper. they will be orgazmic. i am going for matt because my car is white now.

if you pay attention the number plate is the same. just in case some of you find it difficult to beleive that it is the same car.

 

Can I just clarify:

1. The ET35 is the least likely to require arch roll? i.e. (ET20 will stick out from arch further?). - YES

2. Please can you confirm 100% that the ET35 will clear brembo calipers? - YES

3. Will standard wheel nuts be ok for these?

4. Are all of the wheels in the lists actually in stock in the UK in some quantity or are some of us likely to be waiting some time to have an order satisfied?

Interested in 527 18 x 8.75 5x100 & 114.3 et35 in bronze, but just trying to convince myself to part with my money.

1. Yes, also at the top of the page under Tools there is a calculator that can help with tyre size and offset
2. Scoobyworld have the 527's pictured on their website on an sti, they might be able to answer this for you

I understand that most cars wil require the rear arches rolling if they've been lowered - mine was rolled with a 3lb lump hammer

Standard wheel nuts should be fine as I would expect them have the same taper in the wheel nut well - they will look odd though unless you have some particularly clean ones

 

What I actually need is gunmetal but even in the 527 style they only do that in ET20 so the chrome black is currently favourite - once we know this is happening I'll make up my mind - any pictures of DBM with bronze wheels

That's pretty much what I expected. I always like to know the hidden costs and potential issues before I jump in. With new wheel nuts, camber bolts front and rear and rear arch rolling, let alone tyre fitting etc it's not completely straight forward.

Still somewhat tempted in a set though.

why should i have to price match someone on ebay that is probably selling them from their sitting room earning £20 on a set of rims , as i said before there is minimum ££ profit in wheels and im not prepared with all the work involved to make no money .

as i said i run a successful tyre business and i make more money on 2 average tyres most times than i do on a set of rims , i try to keep my prices as low as i can to give you guys a good deal and make me abit of extra on the side

im not getting into a slanging match with you mate but why would i be jealous of my friends at spd making some ££ from you guys .

as said before no skin of my back as most people on this thread have bought rims of me before and still continue to.

its not always about price its also about service and after care
