what are people doing about tyres?

 

I'll be using my existing tyres as only 3weeks old

 

depends if either my 225/40/18 Goodyear Eagle F1's or Yoko Parada spec2's stretch over 8.75" ok. Otherwise I hadn't budgeted for new rubber! eek

480 sounds nice if delivered than very nice

225 stretch for rota drift 9.5 then would stretch easy on 8.75

Bhp factory was gonna do a good deal on falcon tyres but srd power has better prices. I personally am keeping my eyes peeled for a set of second hand semi slicks at a decent price. But could be tempted to go for a group buy.

I am an xxr dealer but due to stock issues I wouldn't be able to help this time , wouldn't like to let anyone down

and if I have offended people in pms or not price matched other places before I am sorry but im not prepared to cut my nose off to make no money for quite a lot of work , the margins are very very small on wheels and the tyre side of my business takes priority .

Having lots of stock doesn't mean they got them any cheaper from the manufacturer or can sell them any cheaper to us. As Mags says the resale profit margin on wheels is very small and manufacturers tend to have a set discounted distributor price. The only margin for reduction is normally in the re-sellers own profit. Happy to be proved wrong though!

have they actually got all colours in stock though as i thought there was a bit of a shortage of xxr 527s in proper colours only chavtastic gold readily available.
