Did some more noseing about today inside and under the car. The curse of many Classic Impreza's is the inner arch rust, so I removed the boot linings and found this.
And from the top.
Even at my age I managed to get down on one knee and get some upskirt shots. The area behind the front right wishbone.
Under the drivers seat.
I'll try and get it on the ramps in the Bat Cave and see what needs a bit of Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 over the next few days.

That looks spot on Ian... awesome find looking forward to seeing this !
Agree with keeping it limited and running in KMs, at least you know what she has actually done! My Type R was still running in KMs and never needed the 112mph limiter removed!

Popped into Three Arches for a chat and to book the car in for a quick health check next week.
But was looking round the car and spotted the exhaust was made by Ti.
Is this the same company?

Fitted the LAMCO Gauges today, but I have not wired up the Temp Sender yet, but it's in place.
But I had a surprise when I fitted them. I took the gearstick surround off and found this!
A Quick shift kit fitted .
Also fitted some new rubber pedal covers but that's boring.
I have discovered the origin of the exhaust, it's very impressive to say the least.

Cheers Jake.

They were on my RA when I bought it and your feet slip on them when they're wet
Ian, a very nice car and everything I thought it would be from what I've seen from the previous thread pics. OE is the way to go with these getting very rare in this condition, cant wait to see it soon.

To answer Si's question, I have used the Subaru instructions for feeding cables through the bulk head. The boost hose is fitted and the temp sensor cables will follow the same path. Once they are both fitted I can hid it behind the bulk head sound deadening and feed it into the back of the centre console.
