Really only you can decide this and Blob owners will say blob and bug owners would say bug lol.

I prefer the Bug mainly because it isn't loved that much I've always been the person who likes cars that aren't the most popular model or colour (like when I had my E46 M3 in turd Pheonix Yellow)

But if you really don't care and like both then just go for the best one you buy!

I've had both, If the bug is done right they look well, JDM hid's for me on the headlights though...the black/chrome ones, its a very marmite question but as they didn't do a twinscroll bug that's why I'm in a blob now.

it's already been said but there is not really and difference in performance just the asthetics, it will cost you around £750-£1000 for blob conversion so if you decide on a blob but the bugs 2k cheaper buy the bug and do the conversion

OMG, I've turned you into a changed man.

Blob for me, though I think the Bug is ageing well.

The Prodrive versions are the best looking bugs but only a few black ones are still running. Have a look at the Frayze black bug though (amazing build thread in Projects), you won't see a nicer car.

Type UK prodrive is what I'm after. Spotted one on eBay, waiting on reply to a few questions.

Don't forget to look hard for rust, whichever one you go to see. The plastic underbody panels at the front can hide it very well.
