you gotta admit they do look great in black on my car

 

In all honesty, IMO they only look good on certain cars which can pull them off, a Subaru is not one of them IMO unless it's got some sort of arch extenders, a classic with wide arches would look ok.
But don't take my comments on board it's just my opinion, it's your car and if you like them then that's all that matters.
All black / anthracite wheels look good on silver cars too.
