The quickest car I've ever owned was my Prodrive Bug STi, because I owned it at 23 and drove it like you'd expect someone of that mindset to do so.
I'm not saying I drive like a grandma in my current machine but I'm far more careful in it, even if it would obliterate any of the previous cars I've owned.

Quickest car is my current R35 GTR with 620bhp.
Most fun car, my little Brabus Roadster Coupe. Only had it for 9 months, drove it to Munich and back and was the most unreliable car I've owned to date (although fortunately nothing went wrong on the Munich trip!).

For me they don't go together. Quickest was my Supra TT or R33 GTR.
Most fun are not the quickest car and is my 205 1.9 GTi. S2000 is pretty fun too though!

Most fun car i had was a black Pontiac Trans-am . At a touch of a button it could jump really high and and by pressing another button it would go super sonic fast like as if it had 2 maps 1 being about 250 bhp and the other being 2500 bhp. And the car would talk to you 
Oh and it could drive itself which was very handy if i fell asleep or had 1 too many !
Great car that , wish i never swapped it for a Pug 306 diesel

Loving how the old stuff comes up.Seems Peugeot were the best.would bloody love a spin in 205 or 106 gti,see what it was all about

For sheer rocketry it's hard to choose between a 996 turbo and current modded Sti Bug. The 996 went ages ago before it killed me, had more 'Oh my God!' moments in that car than all the others I've owned put together. Most fun was a 205 1.9 gti, fast enough and once you knew its foibles it could be chucked all over the road.

Most fun is between my old mk5 Fiesta Zetec S or Civic (with b16 swap). Really loved both them cars, only had to sell the Fiesta due to rear arches going every 10 months or so with rust
Quickest was my 04 Impreza STI running 330bhp/340 ft-lbs
