glad you got it sorted bud. i was going to go the silicone intake route with mine but from what you,ve said on this thread i dont think i,ll bother!

I'm guessing the VF35 is temperamental. I have a silicone intake for sale now cheap if you wanna try it? Like I said on the original engine it was fine

Depends how the silicone intake is made, hence cheaper ones tend to collapse when boosting.
A good constructed hose will NOT collapse under load

what are the gains? just dont know if its worth the hassle for minimum benefit plus the possibility of having the same problem as you lol.

No gains, just less restrictive= smoother boost control (along as it doesn't collapse on boost)
