Yep the arctic storm they predicted a couple of weeks ago is a bugger as are the 150mph winds and the Phillipines style tornado we had over Christmas! What do you think?

 

Of course you've to feel for the flood victims. ( well maybe a few of the poor ones,if applicable )

I think anyone over 10 years old realises that newspapers "enhance" their front page headlines or they puff stories in order to increase their circulation. The weather may not have been as bad as they made out but if you were standing up to your ar$e in flood water you probably wouldn't argue one way or the other.

 

Nope, but no one is. It appears to be a completely disorganised mess. No one expects the authorities to stop the weather, but the efforts to contain and more importantly evacuate and secure people's properties are utterly woeful and no one appears to want to get a handle on it!

 

None of which makes the Express and their looney healdines anywhere close to being right. But that's not really the point of your post is it?
