I liked scary films when I was young. Now they freak me out. Mind you, I watched a film called The Fourth Kind last year, which I was warned about. I didn't think it was that much of a kidney drainer. I didn't have a single nightmare about it whereas Paranormal Activity 3 gave me delayed fright. I wouldn't go in my attic room for days, man! I thought Toby's invisible ghost would pull my long hair in the air, and then kill me!

Ok, go with that, if that's your experience. Not laughing, as it must have been very tragic for your undies.

Not reality.

That said, when people become genuinely terrified - like knowing/thinking about they're to be tortured or executed - then you're indeed correct. An involuntarily physiological reaction does indeed cause you to massively pee yourself.

Some F's, some P's and then F again i.e. fight, flight, freeze, pee, poo, puke or go > ****!!! in response to F for fright.

You can do, but's it's all F for fact, not F for foolery. I'd also add f for fart when F for frightened, to be F for fair.

I have noticed on the Express's headlines that if the forecast is for poor weather it so often is announced as being "Deadly"

What a load of plonkers!

Exactly, it's the fear factor. The weather is bad enough without them doubling every wind speed and scaring the hell out of everyone!

PS Good to see you Les

It makes me laugh; nice way to start the day with a bit of DE freak out apocalyptic weather forecasts usually for the coming weekend!

Easy stories though are they, just a cheap way of selling papers.

Mind you only cheap people read newspapers anyway so the two go hand in hand.

Must be an easy life as a journalist at the DE - they must only have 5 or 6 front stories that they rotate between.

A gloriously sunny day here. Just went for a nice coast run (well the weather was nice. My legs, lungs and heart may not agree it was "nice") knowing it may be my last day once the DEADLY weather strikes.

I surfed on my own in the LETHAL ocean yesterday but despite my leash snapping, I dodged the grim reapers flurry of blows and returned home for a nice cup of tea.

You must be a God among men to survive such ferocious freak weather Apocalyptic storms! Maybe we should class you as being a hero for braving such severe elements!!

There has been no winter to speak of this year so far because I spent £360 on winter wheels and tyres and fitted them to our Fiesta late last autumn.

I'll perhaps put the original alloys back on this weekend, so await the ('Deadly') blizzards next week.

Yea they made a total ar$e of that, this has been one of the mildest winters for years. I haven't even had to put on a jacket so far.

Most likely isn't going change either so long as the jet stream stays locked in the position it's in!

Wonder what DE will predict for "summer"?

I cringe at the thought, most likely we will get the opposite of what they say TBH. I'm hoping for a summer just like last year though!

A drought of course! They'll be predicting hosepipe bans by April...

His head looks like an albino-based mashup of Geoffrey Palmer, David Coulthard and Colonel Gaddafi. It's all in the jowls and craggy complexion.

Yes, close

I actually think he has wearing a sh1te, beardless version of the bo selecta craig David mask

The bottom half of his face looks like it has been sown (badly) on to the top

Sort it out fella - you are an embarrassment, and shoite at your job too

Anyway, as a keen dinghy sailor - Somerset looks a cracking place to visit, if this weather lasts to the summer
