I have a hawk, & am watching these with interest because I have just bought a set of 9.5 inch Rota alloys, & they have just made stretched tyres illegal over here.

I suspect there are a lot of people interested in these flares, but don't want to commit until they see the final product.

If they are any way as good looking as the Karlton flares, I think that you will sell a lot of them.

Shouldn't be much stretch at all, I am putting 225/40/18 tyres on 18 x 9.5 alloys.

I hope there are a lot of police officers like you about .

Are you sure about that? If so, how are they going to police it? Most BMW's have a bit of stretch on the rear tyres as standard. Also, tyres have recommended size wheels they will fit, some of them will give stretch

Thats fair enough I understand, I am very confident you'll be happy with the end product. The main difference on all models is the front winglets, with our flares having separate parts all we need to do is re-model the front section and the rest should fit fine

I will be taking a couple of sets to the NBO next month so anyone wanting to try them up against their car can

The flares themselves wont be too much to fit its just a case of rivit, bond, smooth and spray. The hard part is cutting into the arch of the car a lot of body shops are reluctant to do it. If you check back over the thread you'll see a fitting guide, best bet is to take it along to a body shop and ask

Wont be too long now

Ours are different from theirs. Ours come in more pieces, instead of the single at the front we have 2, one around the aarch and one on the front bumper this is so we can get a better finish around each style of bumper. Also the rears on ours come from the bumper, around the arch and down past the door with another small section on the door so when its closed it looks flush.

Also we are cheaper which is what everyone wants at the end of the day

It sounds like yours will look more like the actual Karlton flares, which are more refined than the ABW ones, look forward to seeing them.

Can you take my name off the interest please . I have Pm'd you here tried your website and your phone but you don't seem interested in contacting a potential customer who would have bought loads off you . I have had to go to your rivals not that it seems it would bother you .

Yes thats correct there is no such thing as a perfect fit everything needs to be worked on but we aim to get these as close as possible so it leaves little for you guys to do.

The door piece will be best bonded on with tigerseal

I am doing a test fit this week, I will be holding the flares against a blob and taking photos so you can see how each piece fits. As for proper fitted photos these will be weeks off, its a big job fitting these and everyone has a different idea of how they want to do their own. I think people are planning on getting them done for the NBO

Here are some photos I done last night, these are on the Blob WRX so they dont fit up perfect due to the different bodywork but you get the idea of how close they are. Keep in mind that when they are riveted onto the car they'll pull closer than what the photos show

Any questions please ask. For those that wanted photo's fitted if these are good enough let me know and I will invoice you.

quick question as you said the pictures above are offered up to a WRX, do the front go up and over the ridge on the front wing or stay below like the ones in this picture?

They will be on mine soon and we also have a set going out today and another next week so all being well you should see fitted photos in a few weeks

No, looking at how the flares sit if they were any lower you wouldnt be able to cut that much of the arch away for the wider wheels.

Do you have any side shots of that car?
