I was looking for a spring solution for my gf8 that I will be running agxs on, and stumbled across this great thread. What's the current situation for springs for this setup?
Apologies for thread hijack, but wanted to mention I have two sets of brand-new P11Ls for sale:
One set is brand-new and comes with dust boots for non-inverted struts £375 posted in the UK
One set has been used for less than 1,000 miles, and has been painted in black (some paint flaking) £270 posted in the UK
Must get around to testing these:
GC struts - Bilstein had some old housings available - one of the rear struts isn't quite a colour match, for the other 3.
Digressive damping - increased front, low-speed, compression damping. No jacking down front or rear.
Change of front bump stops.
Increased bearing area, front and rear
This set have increased front droop (which my springs can accommodate)- as can be seen in the side-by-side pic of the fronts: WR99 v longer droop version.
Tops of the front struts are machined to accept Bilstein or oem non-inverted dust boots.
Tops of the rear struts are machined to accept classic, bug or blob/hawk rear top mounts.
Rear struts can use Bilstein, oem non-inverted classic, bug or blob/hawk dust boots.
Classic - A2+A4 due in 17 weeks - lower/linear/stiffer (f+5%/r+15%) version of V6sti spring. For smoother roads/occasional track days. 10mm more ride height than P11L.
