How to make a Fast Road WRX ?

Sorry to hijack this thread but as there seems a lot of people in here you have better knowledge than me and my question is semi related.
I have a 2003 WRX which my wife uses as a daily. She's a total petrolhead but not after lots of power or handling. She just loves Scooby's. It currently has Eibachs, Afterburner Raptor exhaust, decat and a panel filter. I was going to get it remapped for her just so the car can benefit from the mods and to fix the EML light coming on because of the decat. I imagine it will make 260bhp with a remap. Before I do, is it wise to upgrade to the Waldo fuel pump as suggested above or not really worth doing with the mods and power the car will make after the remap? Like I say, not chasing power but more a case of looking after the car and wondering if the fuel pump should be changed as a precaution.
Secondly, as we are all talking about brakes, my 2003 WRX has red Brembo calipers. Is this standard or has the previous owner upgraded to them?
