Good old STI owner ideology!
Functional as... Andy is always saying how good it is around town and on long journeys. What STI owners need to realise is that a lot of those cars on the list (chosen by themselves) are from the USA and they don't have to worry about cornering, potholes, speed bumps and rally stages!!! I think it might be similar in Japan and Aus too where the Imp is rather big.
Can a 67 Mustang GT handle? Is it sexy?

it looks like a bag of ****e, and all that performance must be wonderful on a public road, hope you don't kill a small child crossing the road or anything.
And yet again, 'good looking' and 'functional' are two very different words with very different meanings, I think to stop you getting your knickers in a twist, you should set up the ...'most functional looking Impreza', that'll keep you all entertained for hours!
How is the view with that bonnet spoiler? Wonder what Pc Plod would say...

Jesus, you're not very clever are you Baldrick.
I'll tell you again and even refer you back to post 348 https://www.scoobynet.com/showpost.p...&postcount=348 it's not my car and I don't drive it.
As for the bonnet spoiler, I would like to think it would be taken off for road travel, hows that for functionality.

Also, I don't think there was an excessive to 'low to move' photo posted.

Is the AF racer ok at the lights and stop start traffic? Is it a good family car like the WRX is? Why the hell does a Scoob have to be raced constantly on public roads at incredible speeds to accomplish it's function? My run to Asda and back is mainly on 30-40 roads. I'm more than happy to look good there and back. Especially on the way back with a boot full giving me a better stance.

Sometimes a race track functional car isn't a great road car and vice versa.
AFAIK AF used to track a car with a top mount and he'd have a cool down lap every few revolutions.
The word is compromise.

Then looks are important if you're one of the 90% of owners who never see track time?
Slammed cars are great if you're willing to fork out for damage caused by speed bumps etc.
It might be just me but I've always enjoyed watching a slammed car go cruising past. I've never thought for a second 'that must handle crappy' as I never push the car save for the odd blast to the legal limit from the lights... UK roads are just too dangerous and populated to push a car around a bend.
Just make believe all the cars in the list have this:
