Lets pop down to Tescos in my car that thinks its an airplane
Doesn't matter if a Subaru is stickered up to hell with any manner of quirky add ons if it's extremely fast.
Good old STI owner ideology!
Functional as... Andy is always saying how good it is around town and on long journeys. What STI owners need to realise is that a lot of those cars on the list (chosen by themselves) are from the USA and they don't have to worry about cornering, potholes, speed bumps and rally stages!!! I think it might be similar in Japan and Aus too where the Imp is rather big.
it looks like a bag of ****e, and all that performance must be wonderful on a public road, hope you don't kill a small child crossing the road or anything.
And yet again, 'good looking' and 'functional' are two very different words with very different meanings, I think to stop you getting your knickers in a twist, you should set up the ...'most functional looking Impreza', that'll keep you all entertained for hours!
How is the view with that bonnet spoiler? Wonder what Pc Plod would say...
If I do I will make sure the cars I post can actually be driven and are not just polished ornaments that cant be moved.
Have fun in Lala land kiddies.
I know its doubtful that they let you out long enough to go abroad and visit other countries, but get this, many have nice smooth roads and therefore cars don't need 14 inches of travel.
Also, I don't think there was an excessive to 'low to move' photo posted.
It looks good, it goes fast in a straight line, it goes fast around corners, how much more functionality do you want?
The cars you have posted don't offer any of the above, they are all dysfunctional.
Doesn't matter what people on here have posted for the list as it's explicitly an appearance list only. For all I care some of them can be museum pieces with no engine in them. I dare say 1 or 2 of them might be too
Is the AF racer ok at the lights and stop start traffic? Is it a good family car like the WRX is? Why the hell does a Scoob have to be raced constantly on public roads at incredible speeds to accomplish it's function? My run to Asda and back is mainly on 30-40 roads. I'm more than happy to look good there and back. Especially on the way back with a boot full giving me a better stance.
Then looks are important if you're one of the 90% of owners who never see track time?
Slammed cars are great if you're willing to fork out for damage caused by speed bumps etc.
It might be just me but I've always enjoyed watching a slammed car go cruising past. I've never thought for a second 'that must handle crappy' as I never push the car save for the odd blast to the legal limit from the lights... UK roads are just too dangerous and populated to push a car around a bend.
Just make believe all the cars in the list have this:
Basically a woman isn't good looking if she's crap in bed.
This thread is about us all finding the best looking scoob not the quickest A to B incarnation.
my point is the crappy slammed ones, with stickers and tat are not good looking unless your 15 still buy Max Power and dream of shopping in Halfords!
Also I don't own a STI so don't need to use the STI hate you have on me

It's ok Nobby has JDM envy , it apparently means it warrants his hate for good looking cars
I have no envy at all. Sold up and got out due to latest influx of chav stance owners.
My old impreza had xxrs on it and coilovers and well over 400 bhp. So stance and power
