Jura, I'm gutted for you having to sell the car and really hope that your health improves. The car's no use to you if you're in a box. Hope everything works out for you fella.

Absolutely gutted for you Jura, this car is a credit to its owner and I hope it is kept whole. Also hope you stay on Scoobynet as your advice is always well appreciated

Unfortunately it is not the right car for me but good luck with the sale, I am sure there are plenty of crazy ba5tards out there who are checking their bank balance as we speak.

So you put an vehicle up for auction NO RESERVE and then refuse to sell to the highest bidder. ( Who was saying this guy is a top bloke????)

would you buy from someone with no integrity????

I was the next highest bidder on eBay at £14k but fairly sure I didnt meet the reserve....

To be fair this car is worth a lot, lot more but unfortunately its a very limited market place and £14-18k currently buys a LOT of motor car.....

I remember back in 2001 buying a new P1 at £31k.... Withing 6 months Id spent a further £20k modding it.... 12 months later and at just 17k miles I struggled to get £22k....

We've all done it....purchased, then modded etc.....

When you've had it long enough, enjoyed the mods etc.... Taking a loss doesn't hurt so much, however, these guys have spent a lot of time, money & heartache & really haven't even had much pleasure & now face loosing a fair bit....

My advice would be to px/swap etc for something that MAY sell better, quicker to a wider audience....

But I would say that hey guys ;-)

Mellow,

There was definitely no reserve as i was also bidding, also agreed with your comments however as chrispy says put a reserve simples.

Its simply not correct to offer something for auction and then refuse to sell because it does not reach your target figure. There are facility in place so use them rather than alienating the market place.

Rant over

Just be clear, I'm not carrying out a witch hunt, it's just something that grinds my gears, ebay as a whole takes the **** now

Hi guys

Sorry we are decided not to sell for £14k,I've already said,I'm not prepare sell this wagon for £14k,lesson learned,do not sell anything on eBay without the reserve

I've few offers, but I will rather break wagon for parts

About the my integrity, usually if I'm something buying I will go at least have look,if I will decide to bid or buy for sure, but for those days what car has been on eBay,no viewing, just few text with PX etc

Sorry guys I'm fed up with this project and trust me,if someone will give me ££16-17k right now I will sell, but for £14k

Thanks guys for offers or bidding

Jura
