Considering the cars age / mileage.. Fud's description in my opinion isnt far off what you would expect of most cars this age. No doubt Fud knows his cars so if thats all he could fault it on then I reckon for the price its a decent enough car.

Maybe we all need to be a bit realistic with a cars condition considering its age / mileage and use.

A few hundred spent would see it right enough..!! (Tyres / Seal etc..)

Goodluck with the sale.

Raf

Does the OP disagree with Big Fud's description?

Interested to know.

Ive been told about this thread, and seeing as I used to own this Type R (sold it in April this year) I want to add some support to the seller as I think BigFud comments are over-critical, aloof and spiteful.

The seller has never stated its concours so to pick those faults in paint colour (not noticable) and panels gaps is harsh. Its a 15 year old car with a aftermarket front bumper.

The condition of the body is excellent, very minor bubbling over the rear arches, the paint is excellent all over. Yes it has a few missing cheap trim bits around the windows......big deal.

Its a decent Type R thats 15 years old and drives extremely well and very fast, it has Apexi PFC and 4 original Lamco white gauges, looks great in white, well worth the £4.7k he wants.

Good luck with the sale.

As I said originally, the car is worth every penny of your asking price.
. If the car was in showroom condition then it would demand a much higher price considering it has a fresh engine.

Great looking car and with the fresh engine build easily worth the asking price, some over critical folk's around considering the cars age and price advertised for, if I was after another impreza I'd be very interested in this, good luck with the sale.
