Neither of those items are particularly expensive. In fact the keyboard is a good price considering how nice they are.

ok kb granted but £50 for a crappy mouse?!? you're nuts. You can get a super accurate/DPi PC gaming mouse with 30 buttons on it for that kind of money.

The mouse is easily the best mouse I've ever owned, it's magic. The fact that cockforger mentions a mouse so ghastly that I couldn't put my hand on it for a minute let alone hours is telling.

I have a trackpad for my iMac as well, but go for the mouse more often.

I like the swipe function on the magic mouse, on top of the high quality feel!

As much as this has the distinct feeling of feeding the troll, why do i get the impression you've never really used many Apple products and bitch about them because you can't afford them.

Or maybe your one of those half arsed non-conformists who doesn't quite understand that by non-conforming with Apple users, that you're actually being an even bigger sheep by using Microsoft products?

You're a hypocritical idiot Neil. And the can't afford to buy them comment, ha! that is the typical "elitist" comment you would expect from an Apple fanboy. I have had ipods and iphones before, not that would make any difference. They have all been a massive pain in the **** to be frank and completely overpriced to boot. Thank god for ebay, i would never pay retail prices for their products, that would be insanity. Next you will be telling me you paid Apple's retail price for the latest iphone 5, lunacy...

Yes it is telling, function over form is more important.

I'll take both thanks, perfectly balanced. Timeless is also a nice touch you couldn't appreciate.

No you don't, you like it because Steve Jobs and his clandestine army of Apple fan boys made you like it. Think about it for 2 seconds, I bet you've seen someone eating an Apple today. Coincidece... I think not.

I think the opposite as I find it too small, lacking in tactile feedback and too heavy.

I will stick with my 20 button jobbie

I agree 100%, I have no issue with Apple or Android users, all technology is horses for courses, much like cars. What I loathe is the BS that gets spouted about Apple, mainly by Mr C who claims to be an industry expert...

Even a website quoted on another thread quotes Apple as having the first commercially successful GUI computer, but the reality is, although it was launched a year earlier than another certain computer it sold less than 20% of another famous computer which was better in about 100 ways.

The only reason the Macintosh ever succeeded was down to the Apple Laserwriter Printer and Pagemaker Software becoming the desktop publishing industry standard. On the whole it was a basic computer with a poor monochrome screen with an inflexible GUI and Mouse system.

Apple have done some great things, I will never dispute that. A Mac is the perfect machine for many users, but it is overpriced, and anyone who has installed ideben on wintel machine will agree with that as at the end of the day the OS is what makes the Apple machine more appealing to some over Wintel machines.
