I also like the fact it's at home on the motorway just as well on the twisties. Mine's showing signs of age in the suspension but just means improvements can be made. I'm used to the fuel now and once remapped it'll be even more worth it. I don't miss the Vauxhalls at all now!

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I love how it turns heads!

Get lots of nice comments about it, it's fantastic performance for the £ (even factoring in the money I've spent on mods) and it looks after me on track.

The big dollop of torque at 2.8k and the pull that goes right upto 6.5k. The burble is a nice soundtrack and the relative rarity of it really. You don't really see that many around anymore whereas ST's etc are everywhere.

I love the whining sound that my gearbox makes, sounds like a rally car so i drive it like one lol.

I havnt broke it yet tho, so either a. Im not trying hard enough b. its actually got a ppg straight cut gearbox fitted (99.9% sure it hasnt lol) or c. Its just a bearing thats not got any worse in the 6 months i have owned it so ill drive it (hardish) till it breaks.

I cant wait for some propper snow either, its either gonna end in tears or be a ****load of fun lol

Seating position in the Hatches is 100% better than any of the MY05+ scoobs.

Having owned a stock 2.5 I'd say my favourite thing about this one is that I don't end up staring at the temperature guage all the way home after giving it some beans!

the Scooby rumble, the saloon shape and high spoiler, the AWD, performance and its iconic status. The fact that you can modify it and tweak it so much,......but drains yours funds!

Seconded. Had a classic before and picked up a bug yesterday. Kinda like to be different and you not only look out at the scoop but also the lines down the bonnet from from the headlights. I must admit she may get a facelift with some Morettes though!

Its to stop the dash glaring into your eyes at night and give you better night vision out of the car

I always though the switch on the top of the steering column did that.

The little switch on the center console whose only purpose is to slightly brighten up the tiny clock.

The thing I like the most is that mines got no motor in it
On the upside , It's brilliant on fuel , doesn't wake the neighbours , loads of room to work on it
The down side , it is pretty slow
