Last time we had them I stuck one in an empty & clean marmalade jar. I did the lid up as tight as possible and the thing survived for 8 days. In the I had to take it out and whack it with my shoe lol. Resilient bast*rds.

They seem to hang around if you have a wasps nest as well. They like to attack / eat them.
