Right. Really having a bad week with the car. Eml is back on after a problem week with it. Car is running like a dog. Curbed one of the newly refurbished wheels yesterday. Just lost out an some fog inserts on eBay as I was stuck on a work call and generally a bit fed up with it all at the minute. I've got a set of engine bolts from Tim in the rally tech group buy but not got the drive to fit them currently

Have you got a code reader? If not I've got all the cables if you want to do some diagnostics?

Right. Time for an update. Still got my engine management light on. Might have to take you up on that offer still kosta thanks.
Car has had its first proper clean and a coat of Petes 53 wax under my ownership.
I've been collecting a few more parts. Added a walbro fuel pump to my collection of parts thanks to Matty. Keeping an eye for an exhaust but have bagged my third set of wheels I need to collect from Southampton which wasn't the brightest moment but they were a bargain price so I'll get them next weekend. Also bidding on a few other bits on e of the bay.
Anyway a picture. Everyone loves a picture so nice and clean from today

And an all new look. I've struggled a bit with the proxies as they were below 3mm on tread and I'd picked up a boot off here and decided to have a bit of a change today. So fitted both my spare wheels with ad08's that didn't sell previously and the boot. I have to say I love it!

Looking good mate, my pff7 replicas are away at the powder Coaters being done speedline gold so I will be joining you next week.
I tried the dark look and hated it, I reckon the gold on the black looks great !
I also tried spoilerless and completely debadged and hated that too ! Ha ha
Guess Subaru got it right first time round

Cheer sivo. I just like the change. I like the all dark but its nice to have it updated just to keep it fresh and keep me intrested.

Be good for you to see it now lucko. They aren't the greatest but do just what I want from it for how I use it.

Following on from a few tweaks and new wheels I spent yesterday at Japfest thanks to Opie Oils!
Car was one of three on there stand along with an s14a and a supra for a day that included horrendous rain and burning sun along with a surprise visit from top gear! Anyway big thanks to Opie Oils for having me!

Few quick pics from my iphone:

Right time for an update on the right direction

Following on from the JapFest adventure

I manage to have some good luck at work and have got a company car meaning the scooby no longer has to do daily duties and as anyone who knew my Silver Blob knows I love a good fun scoob, Now I have this beast;

While This is the scooby's new home on the drive for a while;

But it has been treated to a good clean this weekend ready to sit pretty;

and the first delivery for her turned up at work today too!

So I'll start a small bit dismantling and painting over the next few months before a fresh ticket and a proper strip down ready for a wealth of new parts and mapping!

Progress, Finally getting somewhere with the car,
Managed to get my FMIC on spread over two weekends but about 8 hours in total, also did an aircon removal which i'd had planned. Friend at a garage removed the gas for free a few weeks back so I could just start stripping it out. Just waiting for the bungs to turn up for the FMIC BOV and then its off to have the Headers, Exhaust and a map so we'll see what it does. One problem I have had is that because the car is stood it is covered in cobwebs and dust now, more of an annoyance than anything but can't do much at the mo with it. Pictures!

Hows it drive with the BOV blanked off??? Ive driven a classic with this set-up and it drove like a pig, would love to have know what it would have driven like with it being mapped properly or even ran maf-less, but found a re-circ in the end as could not take the risk once it was mapped!!!

Thanks lucko.

Drives alright for the two miles I've done in it to free off the brakes etc ready to head down the garage. Bov is staying blanked and may be going maff less too as it will be lucky to do 2000 miles a year and will probably have a turbo swap in the near future.
