Yes they are the same pads as the Aston Martin ones , same as also fitted to a Renault Traffic van lol , pads will fit loads of different cars , they don't make a pad to fit just one car.

The pads for the 335mm kit don't fit straight into the Subaru caliper , they do need modifying .

So yes you can buy standard pads a lot cheaper than a performance pad , but why would you want to fit a bog standard pad ??

Same can be said for the standard Subaru shape pads , you can buy them as cheap as £10 a set , but they won't have any performance , will cope with normal legal speed driving

i agree the subaru is not massivley fast in a straight line (bypasses) say from 80 - top speed my car is running 298bhp but from point to point acceleration around back roads and town it certainly would not be getting hassled by a vectra!!!!! what car have you fudgey and what sortof power are you producing?

I wouldn't call it scrimping, it's the same as shopping around to get the same product at a better price, which is something i've done all my adult life along with asking for a discount, ALL the time which has saved me thousands over the years.

I struggle to understand people who just cough up whatever amount is asked for all the time or don't shop around,

I got 20% off some materials today, only adds up to £8 but every mickel makes a muckel, if you don't ask you don't get.

Its a UK300 running 240hp
dont get me wrong, when i noticed he wanted to play i did leave it behind, just not as quickly as i thought i would.

if driven hard they are pretty capable cars, but up against a ferarri f430 i properly got my **** handed to me lol

quick cars they are, super cars they are not

I shop around for bargains, and never pay the asking price for any big purchase - apart from groceries

But, there is a limit, and this limit is not something I'd want to cross when your talking about either brakes or tyres on a relatively quick car.

Impreza is a supercar....lol....

Now that is funny, a wrx has about 150bhp per ton out of the box. By today's standards thats really not much, you'd be very surprised how quick these modern diesels and latest small hatchbacks are.

Can anybody comment from first hand experience the difference on Brembo caliper and decent pads vs the goodspeed 335 setup?

Would be interesting to get some feedback for all those classic and wrx drivers
