I think that if Rihanna sang that song, it would probably be quite a big hit. For some reason Miley has such a bad stigma attached to her and a lot of "haters." Not quite sure why but hey ho... The video obviously hasn't done her much favours either.

IMO its because of where she started and what she is doing now. My daughter always used to watch her disney program. To now see the same girl behaving in that manner on stage would be of concern that the child watching may in some way follow suit.
I did see on my daughters facebook feed a pic of old miley and new miley with the typical "Like" and "ignore" signs underneath with the ignore on the new miley. So I guess perhaps they've gone too far with her act and kids are rejecting it - mostly.
