I cant get used to Bf4 on PC -- spend most of my time DeaD!!.....

 

I used to play bf2 and bf2142 on pc they were great but this is just to damn hard. I have the odd reasonable game but normally end up always dead lol

I want to swap it for cod

 

You guys need to suck it up as BF4 kicks ***. Try and play a bit of TDM to get your aim in and weapon choice sorted for each class. Round of 100 kills mean each map is only 10mins long so you don't need to dedicate an hour or so as you do in Conquest. I am working my way through the recon sniper rifles so far (500 kills on each to unlock all battlepacks).

 

Damn I used to love BF2142 on PC,friggin great game..

 

Just got bf4 and really liking it. Yes it is hard especially when starting. I've been really struggling with cod for some reason.killzone is awful. There is motion blur which makes me feel really sick after 10 mins. Second hand value has dropped like a lead brick

 

Agreed I got son Xbox1 & ps4 I own ps4 so had go of both. I really struggled with cod. ?? And yeah kill zone is shît. Like the change up of the cross bar and updates of progress, Xbox has some great features too.

Might be old news, but I've just logged in for a bit of GTA 5 action on the old 360 and see that MS are now giving Gold members 2 bonus games every month. It's Sleeping Dogs at the moment.

 

Might be worth a look.

 

I was playing 2142 only the other day ! - Camp Gibraltar and Suez = it is still brilliant!!

 

Didn't think many would still be online playing it,and moved on to the more up to date games.
Got rid of my gaming pc when I bought my iMac and moved onto consoles,would love to get online and play it again,absolute cracking game.
You got me thinking now ..

The original operation flashpoint was a good game too.

 

There are only a few servers left (8 or 9 ?) -- mostly US or Russian based (one Uk server)

Just had a look at GameTracker and there are 200 peeps playing as I type (worldwide..)

I'm bored anyone wanna trade my battlefield 4 for forza?

 

Done my usual thing of desperately wanting new gadge. Bought a XBO, played it a few times and haven't used it since. Prefer the limited gaming time I have to play GTA rather than a cut down game of Forza that just pushes micro transactions at you at ever opportunity plus I hate what they've done with the triggers for the control of the car. Full throttle (and braking) is achieved at 50% trigger travel. Yes you can adjust it via the game but why should I have to? I've never had to do it for the previous versions of Forza that use the whole distance of travel for the control.

 

Cheaper Xbone model on its way.....maybe..

Could speculate that there will be a slim version of the PS4 in the future too. Oh and in different colours.
Both consoles will be cheaper within a year.

 

I've been so close to pulling the trigger on an Xbone this week but I'm still quite happy to hold back until its been ironed out and the price comes down. Plus I've just had to buy a new turbo for my car so even more of a reason to hold back!

 

Bit of a random question; does the Kinect take it's power direct from the Xbone, or does it have it's own power adaptor?

I've got Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse.
Forza looks fantastic but has very little content compared to previous releases. You'll soon get sick of racing around the same few tracks.
Dead Rising 3, fantastic fun, great to play in co-op online too.
Ryse, surprised how enjoyable this is. Good graphics, if you've played any of the Batman games you will find similarities with the fighting.
But, and it's a big BUT, I still play GTA 5 on the 360 over all of them.

I've debated between Forza and Need For speed. I think I might go for the latter. It's Titanfall that is really tempting me. I think I will borrow my metres Tesco discount to get one.

 

The division for ps4 .meant to be a launch game isn't even getting a 2014 release. P155ed tbh one of the reasons I got ps4 the other was drive club lol
