Stiffi's In Fibreglass & Carbon Fibre
#41
Hi guys, we are working as best as we can on these but we have recently had a couple of large orders in which has set us back a bit. As soon as we have one ready i'll post up photos.
In regards to the spoiler question yes it'll fit all newage sti spoilers, if you look underneath the top blade you'll see where they mount

How long before you are ready to make a production run and deliver?
No offence but there have been quite a few threads on here with companies making stuff and guys waiting months for their parts. Not so bad if you know up front perhaps, but information such as lead times is well handy up front.
Also what comes with each part by way of fixings etc?

The bigger products take more time but we usually never run over 4 weeks for manufacturing, best thing to do is ask if you'd like a more specific build time.
We will only be supplying the stiffi, installation will be down to the buyer. You can screw it in, use adhesive or do both its entirely up to the person buying it and how they want the final product to look on the car.

We should be ready next week to start production, lead time on these will be around 10 days depending on how busy we are.

Photos, sorry for the wait guys! I'll start sending PMs to you all today so we can get the ball rolling.
Installation:
I would suggest drilling through the stiffi at the top and bolting it into place using the STi inserts along with bonding, on the bottom I would just bond it into place. The centre of the spoiler is a perfect fit however when you move towards the edges of the spoiler the gap between the top and bottom is slightly bigger so you will need to use some strong adhesive to bond it into place. This is the same for all Stiffis they all come in one size but the way the spoiler moves and is designed the inners will fit better than the outers, I dont like selling things without being completely honest so if you arent happy with this please drop out of the gropup buy
Remember, when installing the more time you take the better the result and if you arent 100% sure what to you as a local professional

May I suggest that the top of the stiffis be pre drilled & maybe supplied with the correct hex bolts to fit (at extra cost??) into the Sti screw holes already in top underside of spoiler. Also from past experience using thick or doubling up on 3m tape might be better than bonding the bottom of the Stiffi and ruining paintwork.
Any thoughts on above appreciated.
ps I am still interested in group buy but would at least want holes pre drilled.

The installation tip was my personal choice, I dont like the 3m tape and personally I dont think it will hold under pressure but again this is your choice.

Do you have a picture of one in place further out so we can see just how big a gap there is that needs filling?
