Have a play with the launch control, seen someone get some impressive figures.

10mph 0.66 s
20mph 1.23 s
30mph 1.90 s
40mph 2.64 s
50mph 3.54 s
60mph 4.64 s
70mph 5.99 s
80mph 7.55 s
90mph 9.50 s
100mph 11.77 s

Not bad for a diesel

Surely it would need more than that? MTM usually do fairly major conversions - a mate supercharged his RS4 using them.

I was joking. I'd expect a couple of massive turbos.

Ah the C6 has the V10.

What does it do a 1/4 mile in? It's got a stonking amount of power for a street car, does tip the scales at over 2 tons mind.

Got to admit a Scoob hatch is on my list: Just the looks and following engine problems along with the iffy residuals scared me off.

I'm on a tipping point at the mo...The Golf is the longest I've had a car (bar the Jag), and I'm at point of do I get rid now or plough more money into it to make it better as its showing its age a little now. Engine conversion with a VR6 out of a Porsche Cayenne/VW Toureg 3.6 with a supercharger and magnetic ride shocks retrofitted off a Golf R would probably make me want to keep it for longer LOL
ALi - If you are selling the R32 I might be interested in taking it off your hands, assuming it is what I need and the standard SN discount is applied.
