If it's close to the jump in performance from the 4 to the 4S then I'm in. That was a huge jump in lots of areas, huge!

A huge jump like from 4S to 5, still didn't want to make you buy one though, but it does come in bling gold, may be that will be enough for you.

You're a fool. Why would I need to buy a hardly supported new model when I have a fully supported old model. The 5 is only just getting into its stride now, 4S still hanging in there. It's time to strike, November I think, early Christmas present to myself.

Cant comment on PCs, I have too many Apple products that are going wrong between 1-2 years. Coincidence that they only provide a 1 year warranty?

What country are you in? 2 years is standard in the UK for electronics I thought.
www.ifixit.com might help you out. Parts couldn't be simpler to get.

Uk. Apple give 1 year. EU law attempts to give you 2 but in reality the retailers just play dumb.

It doesn't matter ow long the manufacturer states the warrant is, there is a reasonable expectation in UK consumer law for the amount of time certain things should work without failing, and if yo go to your local Trading Standards they will help you out.

Yes and under a mobile contract deal it is the network rather than the shop who is responsible. Its still hassle though and at the moment I am moving house and starting a new job. Time to pursue this is one thing I do not have unfortunately.

To really swing it they'll obviously have to bump the price up ,because otherwise the faithful will feel deceived

Keynote's not for another hour, where they'll make the ANNOUNCEMENT.
It (iOS7) won't be available at least for a few days yet.
Phones are later this month (if they're actually releasing anything!
)

$99 for 16Gb
$199 for 32Gb
Wonder how that will translate into pounds as it's never a direct conversion.
