How can you blast something as cute as that??? >

Before Leslie defends the dignity of the animals, I didn't dress that bunny up. I just got the image from Google.

Anyway, some bunnies can be quite dangerous, I know. <nods>

Personally, I owned guns for 20 years and never shot, or shot at a living thing, only ever did clay pigeon shooting. So it is possible to own a sporting gun, without the 'sport' and still have a good time.

You can use slugs on your FAC,getting hold of them is the problem,if you can find some Remington Nitro Exspress shells in 3's they are great for fox's

Nice auto by the way, although i prefare this

Wor lass has a rabbit

I recently bought a fully moderated baikel 410 and on reading through the instructions it would appear the law is different in Russia, most of the instructions give advice on suitable ammo for defending your home against intruders

I could have bought the Maxus in a 3.5" chamber but it would have been pointless for me because there's no way I would need to shoot a 3.5" cartridge. The extra weight and not being able to shoot smaller loads really put me off. I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that heavy 3" cartridges are just as capable as 3.5" cartridges on big game. As I've mentioned though, I'll never need to shoot huge loads anyway.

I struggled to get hold of 00-buckshot so I can imagine slugs being even harder to get

Simples
If you get them close enough you can actually blast them into a ball of fluff
I tend to leave the hare's alone as they are big buggers to drag back, few years back I made the mistake of giving one both barrels , stretched out it was just over 6 foot

Because wild rabbits are certainly better for you, killed just as humanely and lead a better quality of life than most, almost all, supermarket chickens for example...

Sorry, back on topic

Pretty sure they still make the Hunter - not as popular now though - I guess you would need to import one to buy new today?

I have a Hunter myself, and its a nice gun - classic long recoil action.

Sore subject lol. Had mine on order for 4 months now and still not arrived. Unwittingly by opting for 30" barrels and a left handed adjustable stock I picked the last version of the sporter model to come off the Beretta production lines. Hopefully it arrives before Xmas
