Awesome steering wheel recover
Good to hear that others have had an equally good experience with Jack - he's got a good thing going on. Just to say that my wheel is continuing to look great and seems to be wearing well after 6 weeks being twirled.
To answer a couple of questions:
My car doesnt have a clockspring, so I can't comment.
Changing the wheel is easy as long as you disconnect the battery first (negative terminal) and wait for at least 10 minutes (I went for a cuppa tea)
getting the damn thing back on straight is not so easy however - try and mark the wheel and cowl so you can line them back up - took me three goes to get it almost right!
Price for me was £135 + £50 deposit for the exchange wheel, which was refunded same day.
If I was forced to think of a negative comment, it might be only that the red 12 noon stripe could have been a little brighter red. That's it!
