Does it mean that he eyed on her, but she got involved with 3 controlling middle-aged dirty baskets, and he blames her for that, because all those dodgy looking spanners wanted was some fun? And now, when her life is in tatters, he's making her realise that she should have gone out with him? May be.

His new song in question "Bonfire Heart" that he sent to via email to multiple accounts, and then lied that it was a mistake and he just pressed wrong button, is a bit optimistic and upbeat than many of his songs of losses. Not bad.
