It'll be a case of just making what's already there better or at least cleaner, there's only one person to blame for all this...

It didn't even occur to me to look at these things until I read a certain person's project thread.

It's just that once I've got the opportunity before I start using it properly from springtime on, I may as well get all these jobs out of the way.

No bubble bursting for me, i take pride in useing an abuseing the car for what it is, if something breaks , it breaks, i wont loose no sleep over it and you certainly wont see me polishing and claying it every weekend and worrying about driving it in the snow or rain.
No digging at other members cars intended here, we all own them and love them for different reasons, and mine is driving it how it was intended whren them wondeful japs designed it, and lovving every minute! I'll take a
Drive over epynt ranges and lamp the bolloks off the car over a show any day ;-)

But you're 100% right, they are built to be driven and be driven hard.

And I'm definitely not one for cleaning the car regularly either.

A few more goodies picked up today at Rallyday - a Perrin radiator cooling panel from Dave Y, plus a set of orange side reflectors and side repeater lamps from Kevin.
I have also decided to get some form of in car video camera hard wired into the car, with all the idiots and blame for a claim that goes on at present I think it's a wise move.
Rumours that I only want it to showing off my driving prowess are strictly exaggerated...

It is feeling like it's getting a lot closer now, it is in the Suez Canal making it's way up to Larnaca and from there it's just a hop, skip and a jump (well the Mediterranean sea, up the European coastline, English Channel and North Sea) and it will be here.

I'll give you a job list if you like Robbie I can write an accurate one out no problems
Both Stu and Ty have an ideal chance now over winter to do a little refresh where needed it gives the foundation for years of rust free motoring then, looking back at my pictures I'm amazed how rusty areas were on mine so it's an investment for the future for sure

Well I now have a full vehicle set of chassis Super Pro bushes plus roll centre kit, anti lift kit, front and rear anti roll bar bushes, steering rack bushes, engine mounting dogbone etc on the way.
Should improve the handling no end and stiffen up what is already one of the best Impreza models ever made.

From there it will be going to Ryan (Prodriverules) in Leominster for a full service (every conceivable service item will be changed), some minor paintwork issues to be carried out plus the minor planned modifications.
I have to arrange to get the steering and suspension geometry alignment done and then a mapping session.
I think getting the car to the UK is going to be the easy part of the equation, it's everything else following that which is going to be the complicated bit.

As I am not going to be using the car much over the winter period I am in no rush to get it on the road.
Obviously I would like to use it but I would rather get everything done and out of the way before the first show of next year - which is usually the PCAD Spring Show at Castle Combe.
