I am going to get the bars removed and powder coated, not sure if I will go with pink or red yet but they will be in need of some TLC given the age of them.
I am hoping that as the DVLA is only 20 minutes away from me that perhaps I can take the paperwork there in person, I know someone who works there and soI hope I can get it fast tracked / bypassing the usual delays encountered with the DVLA.

And the car is in the middle of the Mediterranean as I type this heading for the Port of Piraeus in Greece, so at least it's in the EU now.
And of course it made it past the Somali Pirates, only to pass Gibraltar now if the Spanish haven't blockaded it by that point.

Tbh I was going to keep the standard ARB's given the coilovers are working harder with the ARB's against roll. If mine were on standard struts/springs I would be more in mind to change to a stiffer bar. My original plan was uprated bushes along with all the other bushes I have sitting here ready to go and powdercoat the standard bars Audi Laser Red

Some more goodies arrived in work today - these Ultra Racing strut braces really are well made, the welding is spot on and not like a load of metal splatter.
I also have a brand new Perrin radiator cooling panel that I picked up from Dave Y at Rallyday last Saturday.

I wish they were but I bought mine a few days after the previous delivery had got underway, the two ships seem to be rotation.
Stu, like I have said before mine will be on the road before yours.

Some of the SuperPro suspension and chassis goodies that I ordered have turned up today, only a few minor bushes left which will arrive next week.

I've managed to source a very good condition Prodrive sports cat and centre section, should help to free up some more horses come remap time whilst having still being able to pass the VOSA test.

You can actually take a passage on the ship I believe, but I am not that dedicated to the car (not yet anyway).
It you click on the link below it will allow you to follow the ships progress across it's journey, once the link has opened up if you click on the longitude/latitude link it will show you the current location of the ship.

The Ultra bits come in shipments so it's pot luck sometimes as to whether they have stock of what you want Otherwise you have to wait till another order quota is filled and then wait for shipment. I have always been lucky but I know others that have cancelled orders due to huge lead times It's always best to contact Ultra directly
