Yes and no, yes they've been removed for now as they interfere with the upper grille due to pins at the back of the Dr S202 badge touching one of the horn outer grilles.
No as I was going to sell them but then it occured to me that I only have to use the spacers and bolts that the OE horns mount with, why it didn't occur to me at the time I don't know - it only struck me after I'd left Ryan's garage and was nearly home.

Experience is a great learning tool.

I thought that it would work well, just a pity the badge won't come off.

That hurts when you skin your knuckles with it!

Cheers Glenn.
Ian, there's enough of my DNA left on the car that I'd never have a problem proving it's mine.
The amount of scrapes, marks and cuts I've got on my hands it looks like I've been bare knuckle fighting with the gypsies.
Is that your daaaag?

Hi Tyron
I've just read this entire thread, enjoyed your excitement in owning another S202, to then thinking about selling it and back to the enthusiasm of owning one again! Glad you decided to keep it! :-)
I've never been a fan of the Bug Eye, but once I had a test drive in mine I knew I was buying it!

There is something fitted in your car that shouldn't be there. As you have already owned one before you are excluded from providing the answer! :-)

S202's becoming quite common these days eh?!

Yes it's been a little bit of a roller coaster ride with this car that's for sure, the car should be ready for remapping before too long and then it'll be time to enjoy it just in time for the show season.
The Bugeye looks certainly grow on you, I think that they are a great car and they are starting to become quite sort after especially the STi models - I'd love an STi wagon as well.
Yes there are a few S202's in the UK now, I'd love a yellow one but I could only find one in Japan but it had all the unique S202 goodies taken off it, it was up for sale for £17k before all the other costs, so it would be at least £25k into the UK.
Plus there was the £8k it needed spending in order to bring it back to standard.

I'll not divulge the discrepancy either.
Ive guessed it, the japaneese owner knew tys car was going to a fanny of a driver, so they removed the foam underneath the drivers seat, fitted a fighter pilot style ejector mechanism, but instead with a spare pair of Y-fronts and some moustureising wipes, all powered off the go faster pedal when the ar reaches sub zero speeds in excess of 45mph?!

Keep away from the keyboard when you've been on the shandy tops is all I can say.
