Has anyone had the heatshield and fitted it ??

Got mine but doesn't seem to fit and by the looks of it you need to drill through the cover??

Yes you will need to add a extra hole, as you already had the cover first.

Just to keep all updated,

as you may of guessed we have had some problems with out plastic company, I gave them the order months back for the centre piece which they still haven't started, so yesterday I cancelled the order and will we will making the tool our selves, I have a engine with me a and all the cad files, so will be ordering material on Monday and making a start very soon . I will also share some machining photos with you all to keep you up to date,

I have also found a local company now that can produce the parts for us from the clear plastic

 

Any ideas when we should be getting them?

I'm also yet to receive the exhaust shields?

 

Things are moving faster now Alan as the tooling is now with my new supplier.. just need to get the tooling made now for the center piece which I am doing myself ... will get them on the machines as soon as possible

 

Good stuff man, not in a huge hurry as they're not going on until my engine is built, but 2months or so I'll be looking for them.

still waiting for a update on the center piece myself

 

I dropped off a engine to the guys making the centre cover on saturday guys to make final adjustments. I have been told two weeks now for us to have our first sample . fingers crossed they stick to it

 

Just a quick update regarding the center piece.

The centre cover has now been made but they have done it in black plastic, just to trial fit.... it all looked pretty good when I it it Saturday . I did take a pic but it somehow got deleted on my phone... anyway they are make the final finished one in clear this week for me, so we will have finished pictures of all three parts fitted together in the next few days now ..

 

After two years we now have the full set finished.

We can start dispatching pre-orders on 14/12/14 ,. and will be able to post some better photos soon ( sorry for the old rusty engine)
