I was looking into a big brake upgrade but I don't think it's worth it for me as I'm not looking at power mods at the moment.
Really want to get some discs with anodised bells/hubs though hate it when the rust!

I just rubbed my hubs down and painted them with black hammerite....they've stayed nice and black since!

I see you're in Braintree mate. If you're available, tomorrow night is the Southend run. Meet at the tesco along the A127 at 7-8 pm and then convoy down to Southend. It's always a good turnout and a cracking meet

So I'm allowed to use my wrist for small parts of the day but for nothing major, but got to do some exercises whilst going through physio so thought might as well excise it doing a few car bits!

Fitted the ScoobyParts Pink Grill Badge:

Then with the help of my daughter fitted the STI Red Stiched handbrake and STI handbrake surround and Gaiter

Then fitted the Flocked Clock centre dash piece after drilling a hole for the alarm light:

Really want to get the rest of my dash and bits flocked and fitted now!

So whilst waiting for my mate to help me fit some bits I decided to try and cut, smooth and spray the Gurney flap I bought for a bargain price of £9 delivered

Cut, Smoothed and Sprayed gloss black:

Whilst I had the paint stuff out thought I'd clean up the Scoobyworld WRC mud flaps that I bought off a SN forum member, so I cleaned all the mud flaps using Cif and 303 Aerospace dressing, then I primed and sprayed the fixing kit brackets from silver to Gloss black, and got some new shinning fitting bolts:

So after giving the Fugly Bug a mini valet the other day (see more pics here https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...let-today.html of that)

Here's a Couple of it after the clean though:

So today I thought I'd give the engine a quick clean, but I went a bit far and with a can of Gold Plasti Dip left over from my mates wheels I sprayed for him....engine bay went from this:

Then this happened which I know a lot of people probably won't like lol:

Thanks Zippy, yeah I was thinking this is going to look really bad when I was doing it, but thought oh well I can always just spray them black.
But as the gold dried and it went like a Matt gold I thought yeah that will work.
Think when I get my blue hoses it will compliment it quite nicely.
Not sure what to do about the intake snorkel though!?

Haha you mention Hella Supertones and then bang there here lol, just fitted them today.

Thanks for the comments mate appreciate it. Few more bits to come yet, looking out for more carbon bits, lowering and rear diffuser!

But just booked a wedding on Monday for next Feb so may have to curb the spending lol
